BlueLine Conservation Incentives is a private conservation finance firm which leverages market-based programs to fund land conservation and ecosystem services. At BlueLine, we believe that the market is one of the most powerful tools available to conservation efforts. Our focus on ecosystem services, wetland mitigation, stream restoration, conservation easements, PDRs, TDRs, tax credits, and water quality trading are examples of such market mechanisms. For over 17 years BlueLine has organized “market maker” platforms for nutrient, mitigation and tax credit trading, while through its affiliate, Norman Realty, developed unique brokerage expertise selling land with special conservation, environmental, or natural resource value.

Ecosystem Services was founded in 2011 to assist with the growing need to develop and implement ecological restoration projects to restore stream systems to meet regulatory requirements for MS4 permits, Chesapeake Bay and local TMDLs, and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
Our Founders built a team and company vision around this mission to reduce impacts to waterways, implement on-the-ground restoration and quantify uplift credits. Ecosystem Services multidisciplinary team of engineers and environmental scientists provide the expertise to carry any mitigation/environmental banking project from the feasibility and assessment phase through the permitting, design, mitigation marketing, monitoring, and adaptive management phases until the project is transferred to a long-term steward at the completion of monitoring responsibilities.

Restoration Systems is the most experienced mitigation banker in the United States. We were there at the birth of mitigation banking in Congress in the early ’90s and have maintained influence in every national policy decision and business practice improvement in the ecological restoration industry since that time.
Our work has expanded beyond streams and wetlands to become a national leader in development of water quality credit banks, installation of Living Shorelines to protect our coasts, removal of obsolete dams and fish blockages and preservation and restoration of habitat for threatened and endangered species.
